How can I run my Flu and Covid vaccination campaigns?

This video provides an overview of how a system can assist in running your flu and COVID vaccination campaigns. 

Eligibility Checks: 

1. Navigate to the reports under "Welby Innovate Pathology > 3f Flu and Covid"

2. The top two "*May be eligible" reports identify two groups of patients: those who were coded for flu vaccination last season, requiring a manual review to confirm if they need to be recoded this year, and those with a BMI over 40 recorded before the start of the last flu season, who may need updated BMI information to confirm their continued eligibility. 

3. A communications annexe preset "Height & Weight Questionnaire for BMI" is available to calculate patients' current BMI. To send this, view patients in report by selecting the report and then clicking on the magnifying glass. 

4. Select all patients by clicking on this icon:

5. Launch the communications annexe by clicking on this icon:
 

6. Select the preset: 

7. Click "SEND"

How to invite patients:

1. Navigate to the reports under "Welby Innovate Pathology > 3f Flu and Covid"

2. Choose the type of invite report you'd like to proceed with. Options include reports for Adult and Children Flu-only invites (with booking links), choices for calling or sending letters, and combined invites for both COVID and flu vaccinations.

3.  View patients in the chosen report by selecting the report and then clicking on the magnifying glass. 

4. Select all patients by clicking on this icon:  alternatively, manually select the amount of patients you would like to invite.

5. If you are sending an appointment invitation, select the phone icon for sending unique appointment URL's, and select the relevant appointment invitation, and message preset as advised in the report name, for example:

6. Once populated, click "SEND" 

7. Please note that these presets automatically add the relevant codes for you. However, when calling or sending letters, you'll need to manually bulk code these invitations. The report will always specify which code(s) should be added:

Giving Flu / Covid / RSV Vaccines:

This template displays useful information and quick entry protocols for giving flu, covid or RSV:

Each protocol checks the staff role. If a HCA is using the system, it will check for an appropriate PSD. Each protocol records the appropriate vaccine, advice given and whether the vaccine was administered under a PSD or PGD.
