How do I manage consent for vaccinations?

We have built some reports to support practices navigate the new rules regarding consent for vaccinations (information can be found following the link below

The new rules may not effect your practice as all your vaccinations may be given by registered health professionals who can obtain consent in the appointment. However, for practices who use HCAs or other support staff to give vaccinations, these new rules can possibly cause operational headaches.

We have built reports to identify patients that need consent obtaining prior to coming in for their appointment. These patients can be sent an SMS or letter with the relevant information and can reply to give their consent and then be booked with a HCA rather than a registered health professional.

Reports

Our reports to then invite patients will split them into patients who have consented and can be booked with a HCA, or those who have not yet consented and can be booked with a registered health professional. You can also set up appointment links for consented/not consented vaccination appointments for the relevant appointment/staff member

If all your vaccinations are given by registered health professionals, you can skip all of these reports and use the invitation reports below these as the prior consent will not be relevant.
