Speeding up SystmOne - User Specific

Most steps to speed up SystmOne need to be done at an organisation level and will benefit all users in the practice - Speeding up SystmOne - Organisation Wide. However, some things can only be done on specific PCs and for individual users.

Here are a few general recommendations

• Don't run more apps or windows in your browsers than you really need to. The more you ask your computer to do, the more grouchy it will get
• Shutdown SystmOne at the end of each day and when going for lunch (if you manage such luxuries)
• Periodically clear out the SystmOne Temp files. Here's how...
  1. While SystmOne is running, launch "File Explorer" from the start menu:
  2. Navigate to C:\Apps\Tpp\temp - you can copy and paste this into the search bar of the file explorer:
  3. In the files list, select a file and then press "Ctrl+A" to select all files, then press "Delete" on your keyboard or click on the Recycling bin icon:
  4. You'll see a pop up like this:
  5. Tick "Do this for all current items" and then press "Skip"
