Path update – just a brief reminder that we’re carrying out some updates to the pathology system on Wednesday 17^th & Thursday 18^th and have a webinar on Thursday afternoon where we’ll run through the updates and provide an updated Pathology Planner - Pathology - Minor Updates & Queries | Meeting-Join | Microsoft Teams. We will send around a list of the updates, recording of the webinar and updated pathology planner afterwards.

Monitoring Updates coming next week

• Testosterone Monitoring – we’re refining the monitoring for women on Testosterone to only include the monitoring essential for them as per - 08-BMS-TfC-Testosterone-replacement-in-menopause-DEC2022-A.pdf
• NAFLD / MASLD / Fatty Liver – We currently only monitor patients with NAFLD coded. Several practices have raised concerns about patients who are only ever coded with fatty liver and never anything more specific. We’re going to broaden this cohort to include all patients coded with “Steatotic liver disease”, inc child codes. We believe its appropriate to monitor all these patients annually - MASLD, NAFLD and fatty liver disease - British Liver Trust, Scenario: Management | Management | Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) | CKS | NICE
• Coeliac – we’re adding annual height and weight checks and going to look at developing a questionnaire to check symptoms
