Sometimes pathology labs return results to the Practice without a code attached to them. Although you can see the full report and the numeric result, when the report is filed to the patient record, there is no code attached to the entry.
When this happens, reports and the Welby Innovate system cannot pick this result up, as there is no code to search for.
If this is happening consistently for a particular test result, you will need to contact your pathology lab to resolve this.
If this is a one-off you can resolve it yourself by manually entering the result using the Code Result template as follows.
- From any Welby Innovate template open the Code Results template.
- Enter the result and the date for the test that has not been coded, then click OK to save to the patient record.
Once you have entered the result, you will just need to wait until the following day to rerun any reports that might have been affected.
