April 2025 Update

Modified on Thu, 29 May at 12:11 PM

It was great to see lots of you on our webinar yesterday. For those who missed it, here’s the recording mp4 icon Getting Started on Recall - Sending out your first invites-20250401_104152-Meeting Recording.mp4

It seems to be a helpful way to update you all and answer queries, so we’re going to do a follow-up webinar in three weeks on Wednesday, 23 April, at 1 p.m. We’ll show further developments to invite processes, look at how we do follow-up invites, and answer any questions you may have. There are some significant changes that we’ve made for the start of the new QOF year…

  1. The folders for Annual Review and Monitoring Invites have been split into 3 categories:
    1. Questionnaires
    2. Invites
    3. Visits

We’ve updated the numbering and report headers and names to make them clearer. We’ve also developed the attached spreadsheet (Welby Innovate Invite Planner) that can be used to work out which invites should be sent and when. This will be subject to ongoing development, but it is ready to start using and should help you navigate to the right reports for your practice set-up.

  1. Amendments to the “Request Tests Template”
    1. We rearranged the main screen to make it easier to see what is already planned for a patient. This video discusses this change: https://youtu.be/cUQ1Lfa3z9A. We’re also considering displaying how often a patient has particular bloods, e.g., FBC: every 3m. We welcome your thoughts on how helpful you think that would be.
    2. Moved samples and obs onto a different page and enabled future dated sample requests. These patients will appear in the reports 2b Monitoring Invites / Section 6 once they’re due. If you only request samples, there’s an option to message the patient with details of the samples that are needed.
  2. Introduced new option to opt out of doing Asthma reviews via questionnaires on patients who haven’t been seen in person in the last 2 years – let us know if you’d like this to be made active for you.
  3. The Welby Innovate Capacity Planner we demonstrated previously will work better now, but you need to use the attached updated version to reflect the new financial year
