How do localisations work? What can and can't be localised? How do I check our setup?

Practices vary greatly in how they work, and we want our systems to work for you. We’ve built the system to allow for that local variance. A key part of the setup of each module is understanding how you work as a practice and how the system needs to reflect your requirements.

Configuration can be considered in 3 categories:

1) Elements you can localise - for example, you can...

2) Elements localised by us for you

  • We'll review options with you when you start each module
  • Each module has a folder called "Localisations" - you can ask us to add you to any of these
  • Localisations that we provide are generally for things that are common but important points of difference between practices and areas, e.g. different shared care agreements, labs working differently, reviews that practices may or may not want to include, how appointments get booked and managed

3) Elements that can't be localised

  • Exact monitoring requirements for particular medications or conditions, e.g. removing a particular blood test from monitoring requirements
  • Some of the fundamental workings of the system
  • Localisations that are very specific to individual practices and not likely to be widely used or beneficial

If you want to see your current localisations that are in place, run the reports in the localisation folder. The reports with patients in (normally your practice list) are the ones that are active for your practice.

If you have changes you'd like to suggest or request, please use the "Submit Ticket" button and tell us what you think should be changed. We really appreciate the feedback and ideas from practices have helped make the system what it is.
