Many patients require multiple appointments to complete all the elements of their annual review.
The appointment booking protocol will list all the appointments a patient needs and we recommend booking them all. If a patient has a review coded, using the Recall Overview, and further appointments are needed, there is a prompt to advise booking those.
However, its always possible that further stages don't take place. Patients may DNA their appointments, or they might book the first stage using a link and not be advised that further appointments are needed.
These patients will show as Annual Review Status: Amber and staff can be prompted to book further appointments.
We have reports that can be used to identify these patients and send further invites:
We recommend running these regularly to make sure all reviews are completed.
